Ministry of Defence (MOD)

Ceres Logistics has undertaken a number of projects for the MOD:

• Part of a team working on the Future Defence Supply Chain Initiative (FDSCi) to develop an in-house bid. Ceres provided various logistics consultancy services and undertook sustainability appraisals of MoD facilities.
• Established a set of information requirements and key performance indicators needed to manage and operate Defence Support Vehicles whether owned or operated by the MOD or contractors.
• Market testing of freight distribution services for the Army and of The Priority Freight Distribution Service for the RAF.
• Analysis of Joint Service Administrative Airlift requirements for the MOD.
• Depot location modelling and vehicle routing and scheduling design for the RAF.
• Project and systems design for Gulf War application by the MOD.
